I am still coming down off the intellectual high that I received at the 2 day "1619 conference: The Making of America" at Norfolk State Univeristy. I met some amazing scholars, Friday closed with an amazing performance by the Legacy of Weyanoke and we closed the conference on Saturday with a Remembrance ceremony. Ahhh...to do your passion is to truly live!
